ABOUT
Oblivion Archive is the sound diary of
Fabio Malzbauer—formed in the underground circuits of European nightlife, where years behind the decks and inside collectives defined his approach to sound.
Born and raised in Austria and now based in New York, Fabio never believed in fixed places. The only constant has been sound.
“You only are free when you realize you belong no place—you belong every place—no place at all.”
For a decade, Fabio moved between club booths and studio screens—opening sets, closing nights, shaping sounds, wherever it took form.
His roots run deep in heavy drum and bass and the restless energy of underground collectives. But over time it stopped being about shaking the room—and became more about reaching the heart.
For years, he moved in the behind the scenes — ghost-producing, sculpting sound for others, hiding behind aliases that were never meant to last.
Now based in Brooklyn, he manages S1 Records, guiding its A&R and creative direction — while building RekordClass, his DJ course platform, and channeling his own vision into the output of Oblivion Archive.
